If you are aware of WordPress then I am sure you will love WordPress plugins as these are the building blocks of WordPress and Plugins are bits of software that you can upload to your website to add more features. Plugins and extra custom functionalities help you to optimize your site for search engines, protect it against spammers, and improve the user experience.
hi everyone, do you know that there are more than 50k+ WordPress plugins available on WordPress and you have to be minimalistic in choosing. If you choose randomly, you risk making your website is loading slower, and users won’t be happy. Having the right set of WordPress plugins and tools can help you grow your online business.
Install WordPress Plugins
To install the plugins, First, you need to log in to the WordPress dashboard. if you don’t know how to login into your WordPress website then just enter your domain/wp-admin in the URL bar and hit enter and fill in the username and password then click the sign-in button. Now you will be redirected to the WordPress dashboard and click on the Plugins option which is at the left-hand sidebar after clicking you will see the below image of what plugins you have. some pre-installed plugins and some default plugins.

Just type the WordPress plugin name and you will get the desired plugin or you can also click on the Upload plugin in case you have downloaded or purchased the plugin.
You may ask why plugins are used? when the theme is providing all the functionality. for example, consider you have built the website by using the Astra theme but at the last moment client wants to change the theme to ocean WP then you will lose the data functionality if you have done by installing the plugins then whatever may be the Theme your website doesn’t affect.
What plugins should I use for my website?
I know there are a lot of plugins but it depends on what kind of site you are building for example if you are building an e-commerce site(amazon or Flipkart) you can go for the Woo-Commerce plugin and if you want to create an awesome page then you can go for page builders and my personal favorite builder is Elementor. you can explore more about it.
